How I think about code
Clarity first, cleverness second. I prefer a solution that explains itself over a brilliant one that needs decoding. We read code far more often than we write it.
Which problems interest me
Migrating and modernising .NET applications, data access with SQL and Entity Framework, and interfaces that respect the user's time.
What I try to solve
Shrinking the distance between "it works" and "it's a pleasure to use". Often it comes down to details: the right names, sensible defaults, functional design.
