Introduction

This privacy policy describes how personal data is handled when using the Loadmap mobile application (hereinafter “the App”), developed by Claudio Bosticco (hereinafter “the Developer”).

Protecting your privacy is an absolute priority. The App is designed to work without accounts, without ads and without any tracking service: your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud space.

Data Collected

The App does not collect any personal data on behalf of the Developer.

Specifically:

  • No data is transmitted to the Developer’s servers or to third parties
  • No account is required to use the App
  • No registration or authentication is needed
  • No analytics or tracking service is integrated into the App
  • No advertising is present in the App

Data Storage and iCloud Sync

The App lets you record information about your training (plans, exercises, sets, runs) and body measurements. This data is stored:

  • on your device, in the App’s local storage
  • in your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), solely to sync data across your devices (iPhone and iPad) associated with your Apple Account

iCloud sync happens entirely between your devices and your personal iCloud space, under Apple’s terms and security measures (see apple.com/legal/privacy). The Developer has no access whatsoever to the data in your private iCloud database.

You can disable iCloud sync for the App at any time from your device’s iCloud settings; in that case, data remains local only.

Data Sharing

The App does not share any data with third parties. There are no integrations with advertising services, analytics, social networks or other external services. The only service involved is Apple’s iCloud, used exclusively as the user’s private storage space.

Data Security

Local data is protected by iOS security mechanisms and by the measures you have configured on your device (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). Data synced to iCloud is protected by the encryption and security measures of Apple’s infrastructure.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data at all times:

  • Access: you can view all entered data directly in the App
  • Modification: you can edit any data at any time
  • Deletion: you can delete individual plans, workouts, runs or measurements directly in the App; deletion also propagates to data synced to iCloud. You can also remove the App’s iCloud data from your device’s iCloud settings

Children

The App is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Developer reserves the right to update this policy. Any changes will be published on this page, with the date at the top updated accordingly.
